Help us solve the problem of unwanted dogs and cats in the Lander area by spaying or neutering your pets. If you need financial assistance, please email us or call for information on spay/neuter certificates. Lander Pet Connection will pay for a portion of the cost and you can use your own veterinarian.
To celebrate Spay Day USA and share the message that spaying and neutering improves pets' lives, The Humane Society of the United States is sponsoring an online photo contest for pets! Click here to support Lander Pet Connection Spay Day USA 2008 through online donations at this website.
Upload a digital photo of your pet and briefly tell us how he or she has improved your life. Once you've entered the contest, forward your pet's photo to friends and family and ask them to vote. Each time you do, you'll share the message that spaying and neutering improves pets' lives.
There are two ways to win: Our celebrity judges will award fabulous prizes to 36 entrants judged to have the best photos and write-ups. And you can win other prizes if your pet finishes in the top 500 pets by popular vote. Check out our contest rules and enter today!
Contest ends March 7.
Winners in the Lander area will receive one free spay or neuter and/or a 3lb. bag of Science Diet dog or cat food.
To apply for financial assistance with your spay or neuter, call 332-9297 or make an appointment with your local veterinarian. Your veterinarian has a certificate that will be completed and submitted to Lander Pet Connection. Currently, Lander Pet Connection pays one-third (1/3) of the cost of a spay/neuter, up to $35.00. Participating veterinarians at this time are Lander Valley Animal Hospital, Wind River Veterinary Services, Alpine Mobile, All Creatures Veterinary Services and The Stock Doc. If you use another veterinary, please have him/her call Lander Pet Connection at 330-5200."
