We get a great many telephone calls on the Pet
Connection’s Help Line. All too often, however,
we are unable to help because a request is
beyond our limited resources.
The Pet Connection is only able to rescue
abandoned animals. Since there is no animal
shelter in Lander, this goal quickly exhausts our
funds. We are funded entirely by contributions
and can help only the animals that have nowhere
else to turn.
We can provide only limited assistance to people
who are no longer able to keep their pets. If you
need to find a new home for your pet, we are
happy to include your pet on our list of animals
needing homes. We will refer callers to you who
might be interested in adopting your pet.
LPC volunteers are experienced pet owners and
we are happy work with you to overcome
problems with your pets. We also conduct dog
agility and obedience classes whenever
possible.
