Ever since it was founded, the Pet Connection has wanted
to be able to spay and neuter all the pets it makes available
for adoption.At long last, thanks to the new Spay and Neuter
Fund, we are able to make sure that when animals go to
their new homes, their owners will not have to worry about
having the surgery performed.
The standard fee for adopting a dog or cat has been
$30.00. Although this includes the cost of shots, it has not
included spay or neuter costs. We will now be responsible
for most of these charges and will increase our dog
adoption fee by only an additional $20.00 bringing the total
fee to $50.00. When you consider that the Pet Connection
contributes up to $75.00 toward the surgery, this is a
wonderful opportunity for dog lovers. The cat adoption fee
will remain $30.00.
