In fact, we require he be placed in a home with a playful canine. He has a love for water and is an excellent swimmer, making him a great companion for outdoor activities. In the car, Barnaby is a perfect passenger, staying calm and relaxed. At home, Barnaby has proven himself to be a mellow and respectful guest. He loves playing with all kinds of toys, even enjoying tug-of-war. Barnaby knows commands like sit, shake, and lay down, and he's starting to learn "touch" as a new redirection technique.

Barnaby is currently placed with a skilled foster to work on some behavioral issues that have come up during his stay in the shelter. He is absolutely thriving and we are so pleased to see that a lot of his stress that came up at the shelter has disappeared.
